The third stop of the 2022 season was at Lake Utopia.
The teams started 40 minutes later than usual as they were met with sheets of fog on the drive down and on the water. Once the fog had started to lift, and things were safe, the teams were let loose to chase down their five best.
Through rain and wind, the teams scurried around the lake and canal in search of what turned out to be the elusive big fish and when it was all said and done, it was the team of Hooper & Hooper that stood alone at the top with 10.35 lbs. Second place with 8.70lbs were Chambers & Oliver. Rounding out the top 3 was Ross & Ross with 8.28lbs. The lunker of the day weighed in at just 2.55lbs and that was by Beek & Beek.
