Robert (Rob) Charles Mahoney – Pennfield, NB

1959 - 2021

Rob spent a large part of his career working on the salmon harvest boats. The last few years he was employed at the St. George Golf Course which afforded him time to go deer & moose hunting, one of his great passions.

In his younger years Rob excelled at many sports including hockey &, baseball. But his real passions were hunting and fishing. He spent many a day in the woods or on the water enjoying the great outdoors.

If Rob had to go bass fishing with only a hand full of lures, it would have been with Salt & Pepper Ringworms and Black & Blue Tubes. He caught a lot of fish on them. Definitely his favourite baits. He most likely used a “few” winning the 1999 NBSFA Limited Series Team of the Year and the 2006 Limited Series Championship.

Rob was taken way too early and will be dearly missed by his family and many friends.
