Lucky Strike a long-time supporter of the New Brunswick Sportfishing Association is back for the 2023 season.
A fourth-generation family-owned business, Lucky Strike Bait Works began as a one-person garage-based business that has evolved into a large manufacturing facility with highly skilled employees producing perfectly finished lures and nets.
Lucky Strike is one of North America’s oldest and largest tackle & landing net manufacturers. Out of the facility in Peterborough, Ontario, Lucky Strike Bait Works supplies over 2,000 fishing tackle-related items to buyers in Canada and many countries around the world – see photos.
Lucky Strike supports the Association and its members in several ways:
· The Lucky Strike Award at each regular season event. The Award is presented to the team that had a good day of fishing but just missed getting a cheque (1st out of the money). The prizes vary for each tournament but usually include at least one of the following (or more) of the Lucky Strike F36 Foldaway Net, the Lucky Strike B4 Basket Net, and the Lucky Strike Livewell Net. If you did not know it, an NBSFA member helped designed the Livewell net.
· Numerous Lucky Strike draw prizes are awarded to the teams at the award presentations after each regular season tournament and may include Lucky Strike Livewell Nets, Gaiters, Spinnerbaits and Crankbaits.
· This year at each NBSFA Kids Event, the first 50 kids to register will receive a free Lucky Strike lure.
· Last season over $2,200 worth of products were awarded to NBSFA members.
Lucky Strike lures and nets are available at the Minnow Tackle Shop at 579 Kings Street in Fredericton. Looking for something specific, give Amanda or Henning a call at (506) 260-9815. If you can’t make it to the shop many Lucky Strike products are also available on-line at “https://luckystrikebaitworks.com/”.
