Kenny was born in Chilliwack, BC, but being from a military family lived across Canada before settling in Nova Scotia.
He was a skilled tradesman that led him to a job with Oland Breweries where he spent a good portion of his career until retiring in 2015. His career permitted time to spend time with his family and to travel. And while doing that he was usually in the outdoors fishing and hunting. He was a member of several fishing organizations including the New Brunswick Sportfishing Association. Kenny loved tournament fishing and you would usually see him at the spring two-day Nackawic Tournament and the fall two-day Woodstock Tournament every year be it with a son or one of his many friends. Kenny was also a member of several hunting clubs and donated his time to teach hunter bow safety.
Fishing & hunting were Kenny’s passion, especially if family and friends were enjoying them with him. His friendship will be missed by many.
