Art loved the water and boating was his passion. His first job at Baddeck Marine most likely created that passion. He attained his small engine repair certification in Ontario before heading west to British Columbia working at various marinas and Mercury Marine. The pull of home soon brought him home to Baddeck where he continued his career with Mercury.
Art was an avid volunteer in his community and a member of several community organizations. He enjoyed meeting new people and talking with old friends. As a representative of Mercury Marine his support was felt throughout the boating and bass tournament community in our region. His smile and strong handshake will be remembered by many.
